E.ON is one of the largest players in the energy sector in both the Czech Republic and Europe. It supplies energy to more than 1.5 million customers and also provides energy solutions for households, businesses, and municipalities. The company is active in e-mobility, offering services to end customers as well as building public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, where it ranks among the three leading players on the market. Through its distribution companies EG.D and GAS Distribution, it ensures the distribution of electricity via a 66,000 km-long network in the South Bohemian and South Moravian regions, the Vysočina region, and parts of the Olomouc and Zlín regions. It supplies gas to the South Bohemian region through a network of more than 4,000 km.
