Veronika Vohlídková, Ing., has long been involved in European energy policy, decarbonization, and the development of hydrogen technologies. She has been a member of the board of directors of the Czech Hydrogen Technology Platform (HYTEP) since 2019 and served as its executive director from 2023 to 2026. During her tenure, she led the platform’s development, strengthened its expert team, and expanded cooperation with public administration, industry, and European partners. She gained professional experience at ČEZ, NET4GAS, and the Czech Gas Association, where she focused on European legislation, energy regulation, and strategic management. Veronika Vohlídková graduated with a degree in International Business, specializing in financial management, from the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Economics in Prague.

Senior Specialist for Hydrogen and International Cooperation
Mgr. Julie Obivalněva works at the HYTEP platform, where she specializes in developing international cooperation and supporting the Czech hydrogen sector in both the European and global contexts. She focuses on connecting Czech and foreign partners, developing cross-border initiatives, and raising awareness of the Czech hydrogen economy abroad. As part of her work, she also monitors European and national grant opportunities for HYTEP member companies and participates in the platform’s analytical activities related to the development of the hydrogen economy. Julie Obivalněva graduated with a degree in International Relations and Energy Security from the Faculty of Social Studies at Masaryk University in Brno. Thanks to her professional background, she bridges the fields of energy, international relations, and European cooperation with the aim of supporting the development of hydrogen technologies and their application in the Czech Republic.
Jan Sochor
Jan Sochor
Senior Analyst for Hydrogen Development
Jan Sochor has been working for five years on the development of the hydrogen economy in the Czech Republic, with a focus on legislative and strategic analyses. As an expert with the HYTEP platform, he is involved in drafting the national hydrogen strategy and legislative proposals, while actively advocating for reform of the rules governing RFNBO production. In addition to his analytical work, he coordinates the development of hydrogen initiatives in coal-mining regions (H3 Valley) and is involved in professional training and the promotion of hydrogen technologies at the international level. He is a graduate of European Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.
